Joining HRBKA

By joining your local bee association, you're becoming part of a group of passionate local beekeepers just like yourself. A group designed to help support each other throughout your beekeeping journey.

The association offers the following benefits for £38 per year:

• BBKA Membership - Join the British Beekeeping Association as part of your local membeship.

• Bee Disease Insurance - Joining HRBKA gives you insurance for your hives should you have a notifiable disease.

• Apiary Days - Come and inspect our hives with our experienced beekeepers and meet

  other members.

• Talks and Events - We host talks and events throughout the year both local and regional.

• BBKA News - You get monthly issues of the BBKA News magazine keeping you up-to-date each month.

• Honey Harvesting - We host a yearly extraction day for beginners and you can hire out our extractors as a member of the association saving you the money and space required to keep one yourself.

• WhatsApp Group - We have a WhatsApp community available to members where you can join both beginners and more experienced beekeepers for help and advice and share experiences. It is also where announcements for what the association is doing along with Asian Hornet updates are posted.
